Our Vision

At Friends of Napa County Animal Shelter (NCAS) and Adoption Center we strive for a future where our citizens are responsible guardians and all animals live in a safe environment, thereby putting an end to abandoned, neglected and abused animals. All animals deserve a chance with a loving family of their very own.

We directly support NCAS and the community by providing funding and support for programs including:

  • Pet food distribution
  • Hispanic outreach
  • Community adoption events and promotions
  • Medical emergency fund
  • Volunteer program

Our Mission

Friends of the Napa County Animal Shelter is dedicated to improving the quality of life of our animals in Napa County by developing, funding and managing programs to assist with adoption and lifetime care, provide community education, and to promote volunteer opportunities.

Featured Adoptable: Anna

Short, squatting and super sweet that’s Anna! She’s the little pocket pittie that’s sure to bring you lots of love and happiness! Anna has good leash manners and enjoys a nice walk. She will give you a toothy grin in appreciation. Cuddling is on her list of favorite things. She hopes her forever home will make cuddle time a priority. She has done well in playgroups at the shelter. Anna likes the little dogs! She is wiggly and friendly with adults and kids. She would do best in a house without cats. If Anna sounds like the perfect little pal for you, ask to meet her at Napa County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center!
